If you are headed to Europe during the year-end holidays—and you happen to take a Lufthansa, Swissair or Austrian Airlines flight—you may be surprised to find Howard Brown smiling back at you in his trademark Shining Brightly reflective sunglasses from the pocket in front of your seat.
That’s because Howard—a lifelong entrepreneur, whose inspiring story is told in his memoir Shining Brightly—keeps looking for unusual ways to spread news about his book and his overall brand as a speaker, consultant and activist on behalf of cancer patients and to promote peacemaking in the midst of religious and cultural conflict.
His story attracted the interest of a European magazine publisher Denisa Gokovi, who specializes in producing “luxury business magazines”—aka magazines that are distributed to travelers in European airlines and in hotels.
Howard worked with Denisa’s team as they prepared two different magazine cover stories for late-2023 release.
One magazine, called Heidens, features Howard’s photo on the cover along with the front cover of his memoir.
Denisa’s team also placed a version of Howard’s story in the midst of a special “50 Entrepreneurs” issue of Hoinser magazine, ranking him with other “top” business leaders.
As our authors, like Howard, travel far and wide—our publishing house keeps pace.
Front Edge Publishing distributes our authors’ books worldwide, relying on Ingram’s Global Connect network of factories and distribution services. That network includes publishing hubs in Brazil, Spain, South Africa, Germany, China, Japan, India and South Korea.
We also partner across the global range of Amazon retail websites, so customers who might be intrigued by Howard’s smiling face on a Lufthansa flight in Germany can visit the German version of Amazon to purchase his book in Euros.
Thanks Howard for continuing to push global boundaries with us!
