Every author dreams of having a Best Seller.

One of the goals in book marketing, these days, involves promoting books during the “pre-sale” period when those books are visible in online bookstores prior to their official launch dates. When those books finally start shipping from bookstores like Amazon, the accumulated orders can produce Best Seller rankings encouraging other readers to check out these popular new books.

Most of those best-seller flags are fleeting, but they do produce a wonderful excitement among authors and their communities of readers—so every publisher, now, tries to score some of those top rankings.

This week, Front Edge Publishing is celebrating a couple of top rankings for our new biography, Healing the World: Gustavo Parajón, Public Health and Peacemaking Pioneer.

The book’s hardcover and paperback editions launched with an Amazon No. 1 and No. 2 ranking in “New Releases in Christian Missions and Missionary Work”—and a No. 5 and No. 6 ranking in “Hispanic & Latin Biographies.”

To learn more, please enjoy this recent Read the Spirit magazine cover story featuring an interview with the book’s co-authors. In that story, the co-authors talk about Parajón’s legacy around the world, especially in Nicaragua, across Central America and in the UK as well.

We are hoping that, if you are reading this story today, you might be moved to join that global community of peacemakers by ordering your own copy of this inspiring book.
