Jonathan Grimm of ‘The Future Poor’ is spreading his timely message both near—and far

Location is an asset for authors—but not a limitation in this era of global media
Jonathan Grimm is one of our most media-savvy authors and has shown us that he knows how to navigate all forms of outreach—from personal appearances to the production of everything from short films and videos to podcasts.
The point we’re emphasizing in this week’s Front Edge Publishing column is that an author’s location can be a major asset—but no longer poses a limitation on an author’s global reach.
Jonathan has appeared as a guest on a wide range of podcasts that have circled the world of the Internet. Plus, he produces his own podcast, which you can find on his website.
We’ve got a fresh example of the podcasts he has visited, linked above. And, just a few weeks ago, we told readers about an even more far-reaching podcast on which he appeared as a guest expert: Money with Katie.
Amplifying his prophetic voice across the Internet via his podcasts, videos or other streaming messages doesn’t require Jonathan even to climb into his car—let alone travel cross country.
But Jonathan also understands the value of organizing reader support locally. And, of course, he’s not alone in this. Just last month, we featured a story about Christy Berghoef’s welcoming approach to organizing regional reader support.
In his part of California, Jonathan worked out an arrangement to have his books featured among local authors at the historic landmark: Vroman’s. We celebrated with Jonathan and his family and friends in an earlier column about Vroman’s.
Then this week, we got news from Vroman’s: They’re hosting Jonathan later this month at an in-person local author event. We’ve reproduced the “flyer” below. Click on it to visit Vroman’s site for more information. And, if you are among our readers in southern California, stop by on August 24 and greet Jonathan yourself!
