Dr. Bob Cutillo launches a free Discussion Guide for ‘Holding on in the Storm’

Most of the books we publish are wonderful at sparking discussion in small groups—so we encourage authors to develop Discussion Guides that we can freely distribute to readers, either in the pages of the book or, more often, in downloadable PDFs.

Research on American congregational life over many years has reported that there are millions of “small groups” associated with churches, synagogues, temples and mosques. These groups may be called “Bible Study” or “Sunday School” or might be organized for men, for women or for teens—but the majority of them welcome book discussions on spiritual themes.

Because the majority of these millions of small groups are led by volunteer lay members, publishers know that a Discussion Guide is a valuable way of encouraging readers to bring their favorite books to their small groups.

This week, if you visit Bob Cutillo’s online resource page—HoldingOnInTheStorm.com—you can download his free Discussion Guide in two formats. One is designed to display nicely on digital readers and tablets. The other is designed to print more easily on home or office printers.

And, as we remind visitors to that resource page:

We always encourage readers to order from their preferred booksellers. However, if you are interested in more than 10 copies, email [email protected] to inquire about our prices for direct shipment in quantity. For larger group orders, we could modify a shipment of your books with your organization’s logo and additional pages telling readers about your group or event.
