Happy Summer! Is it just me or has time been moving at warp speed? The sunny days have been filled with afternoons by the pool and leisurely dinners on the deck—which have been wonderful. As fun as those are, I am not entirely disappointed that September will soon be here because—so many good things are coming!
We are approaching a season of joy, and I can’t wait to share this with you!

What happens when a girls’ trip to Mongin Island takes an unexpected turn? Carr, Barb, Tripp, and Buddy are back at it— sorting out the “who’s who” of the island’s latest arrivals including an artist in residence, a career coach, and several characters whose histories literally keep them up at night. A Special Kind of Heartache is fun and adventurous while reminding us why we love this team and this magical island.

Speaking of events: Thank you to Kaya Vineyards for their incredible support ! We hope you will join us for a launch party Lowcountry Boil on October 20 at Kaya. The day will start with a VIP event at 2:00 pm and then festivities (with great food and live music) continue from 3:00-5:00.
